supply or seek to supply products / services to us

This information may include your name, email address, company, job title, telephone number, professional interests, previous experience with our products / services or similar ones, invoicing details (for paying customers) and IP address.
You can refuse to supply personal information (although this may prevent engaging in certain activities).
Information about your computer and about your visits to, and use of, the website may also be collected – but this will not be personally identifying – see more detail below in the Non-personal data section.
How do we use your information?
Can Studios only collects and uses such information as is necessary and appropriate to fulfil the purpose of our visitors’ / customers’ / suppliers’ interaction with Can Studios. We use your personal information to:
respond to enquiries / support requests
provide access to software and services
manage any account/login you have with us
process payments
carry out our contractual obligations
comply with legal and financial regulation
develop our services.
Unless there is a differing legal or contractual obligation, we’ll only store your data for a maximum period of three years from our last contact with you. After this it will be removed from our company server and databases, unless you give us permission to hold your information for longer.
Who has access to your information?
We will never sell or rent your information to third parties, or share your information for marketing purposes.
To provide the services you have requested, we may need to share your data with our own suppliers of externally provided tools/services which may collect, process or store your data (eg Stripe, CustomerIO, Base Camp, Trello, Survey Gimp). We only share data that is necessary to the specific task and require all suppliers/contractors to:

retain it as long as is necessary for the completion of the specified work.
We reserve the right to publish non-personal and non-commercially-identifiable information from support requests of feedback responses to help us identify the best available solution, support other users/potential users.
If Can Studios or a substantial proportion of its assets were acquired, or in the unlikely event that Can Studios enters bankruptcy, user information could be one of the assets that is transferred to a third party. In this event any party that acquires such Can Studios assets may continue to use your personal information as set out in this policy.
Other than the circumstances above, Can Studios will only disclose personal data in response to a legally valid request by the police / courts or when Can Studios believes in good faith that disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect the property or rights of Can Studios, third parties or the public at large.
How is your information kept secure?
Can Studios takes the security of all data very seriously. We have and continue to put in place all reasonable measures to protect against the unauthorised access, use, alteration or destruction of commercial, non-personal, personal and potentially personally-identifying data.
We take all reasonable steps to ensure suppliers / providers are secure, reputable and comply with the General Data Protection Regulations / other relevant legislation. These suppliers / tools may have servers based in the UK, EU or USA.
We only use tools / services based in the US if they are covered by the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework (a mechanism set up by the European Commission and the US Department of Commerce to comply with data protection requirements when transferring personal data from the European Union and Switzerland to the United States).
Where online payments are made we use trustworthy third party payment providers and make it clear who these are at the point of transaction.
