Then our free Zembl Studio authoring tool is for you!
We’ve designed Zembl Studio to offer all the features you need to create effective, engaging elearning, but here’s a few of our favourites:
Bring your elearning to life! Create elearning that your learners will actually enjoy taking – Zembl has full support for images, videos, animation, audio, widgets and a wide range of question types.
Interactions. Quizzes and assessments are a crucial part of elearning, so Zembl has full support for all the most common question types. You can also experiment with interactive video quizzes by taking advantage of our unique ‘Media Marker’ video analysis tool (see image below). When it’s time to give your learners feedback, Zembl has a range of options for you to choose from including popups and dynamic text.
Support for collaborative development. If you’re developing elearning as part of a team, Zembl has all the features you need to stay coordinated and work efficiently, including an integrated bug tracker, activity log, task assignment and email notifications.
Free course hosting. Once you’re happy with the elearning you’ve created, the next step is distributing it. You can either download your materials and distribute them via your channel of choice (for example over a network, LMS or local file system) or you can take advantage of the free course hosting we offer to all Zembl users. If you do opt for online hosting, we publish your elearning to its own webpage, then all you need to do is share this URL with anyone who requires access to your course.
Support for Flash and HTML. People increasingly expect to be able to access the same content on their smartphones and tablets, as they can on their desktop computer. Since Flash currently doesn’t work on mobile devices, Zembl lets you export your elearning materials in either HTML or Flash format. You can even include both formats in a single package so your learners can switch between their mobile device and computer as they work their way through your course.
“Zembl Studio’s Masters (page templates) are great for ensuring consistency of design throughout our product. I like that we can modify a Master and not have to re-implement the content for those pages.
Overall, Zembl Studio is simple to use but it enables us to cost-effectively build slick and sophisticated software using its powerful features, many of which are very attractive to our clients.”
