Version 2.1.0 of Adapt from Can Studios has made a number of improvements to Lite mode – the simplified authoring interface that’s ideal for novice course builders or for those creating courses from a mobile device.

Our September 2018 release sees key features added to the Lite mode functionality: access to the asset manager. Course authors can now upload multiple images/videos, tag and rename without needing to leave Lite mode.

Exclusive to Adapt from Can Studios, Lite mode offers a slimmed-down set of options, which for new or occasional users can be really helpful. Its fully responsive interface also allows anyone to create course content on tablet and mobile.

This month’s release also enables super admins to hide non-live (soft deleted) assets in the asset manager and a complete redesign of the interface for backup, user and profile management make these fully and consistently mobile-friendly.

Can Studios CEO Paul Hilton explains: “Lite mode is part of our commitment to opening up the power of Adapt to course authors who aren’t necessarily as technically experienced. Lite mode might be simplified – but we want it to be powerful too. This latest release will give those who value that simplicity, or need to work on the go, even more creative options.”
